1. Who we are
Conceptos Lógicos, SRL (trading as “COLOGIC”, “we”, “us”), RNC (Dominican taxpayer ID) 124015261, is a Dominican company founded in 1994, with offices at Av Pedro Livio Cedeño N 10, Edificio B-10, 2do piso, local 4B, Ens. 2. Scope of this policy
This policy covers two things: (a) this website, www.conceptoslogicos.com, and (b) the WhatsApp notification service we operate on behalf of our business clients. It does not cover the ERP, point-of-sale or electronic invoicing commercial relationship, which is governed by the contract signed with each business client.
3. Who decides what is sent, and who to complain to
Two parties are involved in the notification service, and it matters which is which:
The client business — the company using our ERP — decides which messages are sent, to which numbers, and with what content. It is the controller of its own customers’ data.
Conceptos Lógicos operates the technical platform on that company’s behalf, as a processor. We do not decide the content of the messages or who receives them, and we do not use that data for our own purposes.
If you received a message and want to complain about its content, or about receiving it at all, contact the business that sent it first — its name appears in the message itself. If you want us to delete your data from our systems, or you cannot reach that business, write to privacidad@conceptoslogicos.com.
4. What data we collect in the notification service
- The recipient’s phone number, in international E.164 format (for example, +18095551234).
- The content of transactional notifications sent to that number: appointment reminders, order status updates and similar notices.
- The delivery state of each message — queued → sent → delivered → read → failed — together with the date and time of each state change.
- Any reply the recipient sends back to the business’s WhatsApp number.
We do not collect location data, contact lists, or any other content from the recipient’s device.
5. Where it is processed and who it is transmitted to
This data is processed and stored outside the Dominican Republic by Cloudflare in the ENAM (United States) region, and transmitted to Meta Platforms, Inc. We do not sell, rent or transfer this data to any third party for advertising or marketing purposes.
6. Consent
WhatsApp requires a person’s prior consent before a business may start a conversation with them. That consent is obtained by the client business through its own channels, at the point where it enters the phone number into the system.
Conceptos Lógicos does not store a separate consent flag for each number: the client business contractually warrants to us that it holds consent for every number it loads into the platform. If you received a message without having authorised it, the business that sent it is answerable for that — and you may write to privacidad@conceptoslogicos.com to have your number removed from the platform.
7. How to stop receiving the messages
Reply to the WhatsApp message asking them to stop writing to you, and the business that sent it will remove you from its list. If you get no reply, or would rather not deal with that business, write to privacidad@conceptoslogicos.com giving the number that received the messages, and we will remove it from the platform.
8. How long we keep the data
WhatsApp message records — recipient number, message content and delivery status — are kept for 12 months from the date of the message. At the end of that period they are deleted.
9. This website
This site uses Google Analytics for visit statistics and, on some pages, the Tawk.to chat widget. Both may set cookies in your browser. You can block or delete them from your browser settings without that preventing you from reading the site’s content.
10. Your rights under Law 172-13
Dominican Law No. 172-13 on the Comprehensive Protection of Personal Data grants you, among others, the rights of access, rectification, updating, objection and erasure of your personal data.
To exercise them, write to privacidad@conceptoslogicos.com, or by post to Conceptos Lógicos, SRL, Av Pedro Livio Cedeño N 10, Edificio B-10, 2do piso, local 4B, Ens. La Fe, Santo Domingo 10514, Distrito Nacional, Dominican Republic. We will deal with your request within 30 days of verifying your identity.
If your request is for data deletion, Data Deletion sets out the concrete steps to follow.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will publish the updated version at this same address and change the effective date shown at the top. Substantial changes will also be communicated to client businesses through the usual support channels.
